LegUp is proud to offer a variety of services for all types of pets—from dogs to cats to fish—and no job is too big or small for LegUp.

Our philosophy is that your pet is treated as if it were our own, not a commodity—and all our dog walkers and pet sitters are animal lovers first. Our goal is to exceed your expectations with every request that you have for your pet—and no matter what service we provide—we believe in personalized care and positive reinforcement. Your appointments are guaranteed—as is your satisfaction.

Additionally, LegUp is happy to provide discounts to senior citizens, military/veteran personnel, and those temporarily unemployed. Please inquire about these rates when speaking with a LegUp representative.

Group Dog Walks
Hiring a dog walker is one of the nicest things you can do for your dog. Not only are dog walks beneficial to the health of your dog, they also provide the extra benefit of socialization. LegUp likes to refer to our dog walks as SAFE walks—which stands for Social Active Fun Exercise—as this is exactly how we tailor our walks to be. Taking place rain or shine, Group Dog Walks bring a group of dogs to a local dog park or enclosed space for 60 minutes where they participate in supervised running, play with other dogs, and whatever makes them happy. Upon request, we will work with your dog on behavior issues and/or reinforce learned behaviors such as recall, heal, sit and stay.

$20: Includes pick-up, play, and delivery home (2-4 hours total)

Private Dog Walks
For dogs that do not interact well with other dogs, or for those that prefer to be walked alone, LegUp is happy to offer on-leash Private Dog Walks. Taking place in and around your neighborhood, the walks last from 30 to 45 minutes and offer your dog an excellent way to exercise without the worries of going to a park or integrating with unfamiliar dogs.

Puppy Play
Puppies have special needs that require special attention. Mid-day visits are an excellent way to help keep your puppy's house training on track. Most experts strongly suggest that you utilize crate training in order to house train your new puppy. However, until puppies are at least 6 months old, they should not be left in a crate for more than 4 hours at a time. This is where LegUp can help!

Visiting your puppy for 30 minutes once or twice a day, we will immediately bring your puppy outdoors to potty. If we arrive at your home to find that the puppy has soiled its crate, we'll understand that it's not their fault and clean up the mess. Once the puppy relieves itself outside, we'll feed and water them and have playtime or a short walk. The puppy will be placed back in their crate 5 minutes prior to the staff member leaving to allow them to settle down with the comfort of a human still in sight. If you've started puppy class with your dog, LegUp can reinforce leash training, as well as training to sit, heel and stay.

Senior/Disabled Dog Play
Puppies aren’t the only dogs with special needs that require special attention. For dogs that are unable to take long walks or participate in group activities, this service is available for exercise/companionship indoors or on your property. Depending on your dog’s situation, we can play lightly, take a slow walk, or if companionship is all they need, we will spend our time petting and loving your pet so it receives personal attention while you’re away.

1 visit/day (30 minutes): $20
2 visits/day (30 minutes x 2): $35

Pooper Scoopers
You love your dog…but you sure don't love having to clean their mess in your yard. Left to accumulate, dog waste ruins the appearance of your property, attracts disease-carrying pests, pollutes ground water sources, and offends the neighbors—not to mention endangering the health of your pets and your family. This service exists to make life easier for dog owners by eliminating this most unpleasant aspect of dog ownership. Once finished, we will double-bag the waste and throw it away in your external garbage can, or remove off-site as required.

One time/week: $15
Two times/week: $20
Three times/week: $25
Each additional dog add $5 per time/week

Canine Companion Vacation Care
Our Canine Companion Vacation Care is a great alternative to kennels if you feel more comfortable leaving your dog in familiar surroundings while you are away. Whether it is overnight care or a daily visit, we will follow your daily routine as closely as possible. We will walk your dog in the morning and/or evening and maintain food, water, and medications to your specifications—and we're happy to provide complimentary services such as bringing in your mail and newspaper, watering plants, alternating lights and blinds, and other reasonable requests.

1 visit/day (45 minutes): $25
2 visits/day (45 minutes x 2): $35
Overnight Care: $45
Each additional pet in household: No charge!

Note: A visit required after 4pm on the day of your return is charged as a full day of vacation care.
